Welcome to Our New Trustees!

We’re delighted to announce two exceptional additions to our Board of Trustees: Dr Alistair Fielding and Professor Carol Crean.

Dr Alistair Fielding joins us from Liverpool John Moores University, where he serves as Programme Leader for the MSc in Drug Discovery, Development, and Delivery and Senior Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry. Alistair’s expertise in electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy spans radical processes in carbon materials, pharmaceuticals, and beyond. After earning his PhD at UCL and completing postdoctoral training across international institutions, he worked at the EPSRC National Service for EPR Spectroscopy before establishing a regional EPR hub at LJMU that serves both academic and industrial partners.

Professor Carol Crean is Professor of Chemistry at the University of Surrey. With a distinguished career spanning Dublin City University, the University of Wollongong, and positions supported by a Marie Curie Reintegration Grant, Carol brings deep expertise in analytical and physical chemistry. Her current research focuses on advanced electro-materials for sensors and energy storage, with particular emphasis on wearable sensors.

Both Alistair and Carol bring invaluable scientific leadership and vision to our organisation. Please join us in welcoming them!
